So, you may have heard that we meet on the campus of the Citadel on Sunday mornings! A few FAQ’s that we receive about this include: “Is your church primarily for Citadel cadets or college students?” “Am I allowed to just drive onto campus?” “Is the guard at the front gate going to hurt me??”
Here are our responses to your questions: we are a church who welcomes anyone and everyone, not only college students. The Citadel campus is opened to the public and the guard at the front gate won’t hurt you 😂
We hope to see you Sunday at 10:30am for our worship service! Please feel free to message us with any questions you may have.
Did you know that the number of SC children under the protection of DSS has increased by 1,500 since 2012? In order to care for these children who have been removed from abusive homes, the Church must take responsibility.
Our Park Circle missional community is partnering with a non-profit organization that provides goods and services to children who have been abused or neglected, Lowcountry Orphan Relief. They intervene at critical junctures in the lives of these children, with products and services that provide a strong, positive impact. Since 2006, LOR has clothed over 30,000 children in the Tri-County area.
Caleb and Hannah Melton have volunteered their home as the primary drop off location for children's clothing donations in Park Circle. If you would like to donate clothing donations, please drop them off at the Melton's address - 4714 Brookside Dr in North Charleston.
The Park Circle missional community will also be volunteering for the Lowcountry Orphan Relief's "Kids Run" in April.
If you would like to get involved, please text "JOIN" to 843.256.4121

This Sunday after the service, we will be holding our first ever members meeting! God has opened doors to some very exciting opportunities so we can’t wait to seek the Lord’s guidance together on these matters.
Lunch will be provided by D’Al’s Pizza.
This Sunday, we are so humbled to have the opportunity to worship with Bright City Church at their location (James Simons Elementary - 741 King St)!
We are so grateful for Bright City’s hospitality, as well as their commitment to seeing Christ made known on the upper peninsula and to the ends of the earth.
This is the first time we have had the opportunity to partner with another church in the neighborhood, and we can’t wait!!!!!
We will resume services as normal at the Citadel the following Sunday (February 24).
The vision statement of Uptown Church is "Until There is No Place Left in the Uptown and Greater Charleston Area Where the Gospel is Not Seen and Heard." The leadership at Uptown is looking forward to attending No Place Left's "Gospel Conversations Training" at Radiant Church this weekend. Below is a description of the event as well as a registration link.
9 out of 10 Christians struggle to share Jesus with those far from God. Do you?
If so join us as we identify and address some of the most common barriers that keep us from regularly sharing our faith. This training will equip attendees to engage those far from God by providing practical tools and practice. Attendees will grow competent and confident to start and transition conversations, share their story, and share God’s story. This training prioritizes reaching those that the attendees already know who are far from God but also trains them to engage new people and communities.
This training will last from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Plus, if you are able and want to, there is an optional time in the afternoon to join some of the trainers for lunch and then go out and share the gospel with lost people in your community. We will plan to eat lunch until 1:30 pm, share the gospel for two hours and then debrief together until 4:00. This afternoon portion is optional, but so worth it if you can make it.
We are excited to see God working here in South Carolina and beyond until there is no place left!
How much does this event cost?
The event is FREE, it will simply cost your faithfulness, participation, and the time to come =)
What can I bring to the event?

Will food or drinks be provided at the event?

God has been so gracious in guiding many authentically loving and servant-hearted people to Uptown. Shane and Nellie Cummings often serve behind the scenes in a variety of areas like Sunday morning set up and tear down, welcoming first time guests and cooking delicious food for our events.
And we are excited about the arrival of the newest addition to the Cummings household, Noah Shane, in just a few months! We would love for you to join us for their Uptown baby shower on March 9th as we celebrate Shane, Nellie and baby Noah 👶🏼 🍼♥️
This Thursday night, 2 of our awesome ministry leaders, Caleb and Hannah Melton, will be hosting a drop in to meet and thank Park Circle’s food and bev workers. If you live or work in/near Park Circle, be sure to drop by!
